Foothill Auxiliary

Foothill Auxiliary has deep roots in sustaining the Peninsula Family Service. Founding members of this south Peninsula group are daughters of the former Valley Auxiliary members who carry on traditions of support through year-round activities, including their inspirational annual event, Holidays on a High Note. This unique event includes a luncheon, boutique shopping, floral demonstration, and array of tablescapes. The proceeds benefit Peninsula Family Service.

In addition to fundraising, Foothill Auxiliary members volunteer directly at PFS client centers, organize back-pack, book, and other drives to provide essentials for PFS clients, and donate gifts to make the holidays and special occasions a little brighter for the most vulnerable members of our community.

Foothill Auxiliary members develop life-long friendships as they work together to provide essential fundraising, financial, and volunteer support for Peninsula Family Service (PFS). We meet monthly to socialize, organize volunteer activities, and plan fundraising events to benefit PFS.

During the first half of 2021, Foothill Auxiliary raised nearly $25,000 to support families at Midway Child Development Center. In 2020, Foothill Auxiliary responded to the PFS Covid-19 Relief Fund, raising $150,000.

In 2019 Foothill Auxiliary raised $100,000 from our two fundraisers, Bourbon, Boots ‘n Bling and Holidays on a High Note. In addition, we were also active in community events, book drive for preschool children, backpacks donations for low income children, gift cards donations, donating gift bags to 100+ clients, supporting the PFS Fund-a-Need program, and helping with various volunteering activities.
